Piper Child II

When I was three, family legend has it, and not any bigger than this little statue, I famously demanded to be taken to The Building With The Turtles On It.

My parents had no idea what I was talking about, until one day we all went to the museum at the University where I pointed out the Obvious Turtles on the front door. At three year old eye level, and invisible to mere parents.

This little statue is one of a pair of baby fauns sitting at the end of the lovely courtyard, eroding ever so slowly in the eternal rain.
