6/6/10 7:31 PM Il Cane Futuristic

Futurismic Dog

When I was in London last summer I was lucky enough to catch the big show of Italian Futurists at the Tate Modern.

Futurism started as an Italian movement in 1909, the artists were first and foremost concerned with motion and modernity. It was inspiring to see rooms full of these delicious paintings bursting with movement and color. Their fractured vision seemed an accurate prediction of the current barrage of quick cut images and sounds that surround us every day.

Meanwhile, back at Mom & Dad’s house,  Pip dashed by, I caught him on the run, and those legs in particular look quite Futurist to me.
