9/10/10 8:19 PM Snow In Rome
Snow is rare in Rome, it snowed last year, but the last time before that was in January of 2004 when Max and I were visiting the Forum.
Legend has it that Santa Maria Maggiore was built at the site of a rare snowfall on the night of August 4, 352. Every year on Aug. 4 they drop flower petals from the balcony in celebration. I’d love to see that in person.
Snow in a Pope snow globe can happen whenever I want it to! Like for this Iron Photographer photo, calling for a map, something related to the map, and cross processing (or a digital facsimile thereof in this case).
